Rules & Regulations

Eligibility

• Open to all photographers (amateur and professional) of all ages.
• Participants must submit photos taken within Northeast Arkansas (NEA).
• No limit on the number of submissions per person.

Submission Requirements

• Format: JPEG or PNG
• Resolution: Minimum 3000px on the longest side
• File Size: Maximum 10MB per image
• Editing: Minor retouching is allowed (exposure, contrast, color correction). No AI-generated images or excessive alterations.
• Watermarks: No watermarks or logos allowed on submitted images.
• File Naming Convention: LastName_Location_Title.jpg (e.g., Smith_CrowleyRidge_ParkSunset.jpg)

Categories

Participants can submit photos in the following categories:

• Landscapes & Nature (Parks, rivers, wildlife)
• Community & Culture (Festivals, markets, public life)
• City Life & Architecture (Downtowns, landmarks, historic sites)
• Food & Beverage (Local dining, markets, culinary culture)

Judging Criteria

A panel of judges will evaluate photos based on:

• Creativity & Originality (25%)
• Technical Quality (25%)
• Composition & Framing (25%)
• Relevance to NEA & Storytelling (25%)

Prizes

• Honorable Mentions: Recognition on local websites, social media, and marketing material
• Grand Prize: $500 + Featured in city marketing campaigns
• Category Winners: $100 each
